I have been working in Histopathology for 25 years. I had my initial training in pathology in New Delhi, India at Lady Hardinge Medical College. After completing MD in Pathology from Delhi University, I went to UK for further training. I have worked in various hospitals all round UK, which included reputed teaching hospitals in London (St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal Free Hospital) & Leeds (St. James’s and Leeds General Infirmary) and two large district hospitals (Preston & Exeter). I became Member of the Royal College of Pathology by examination in Histopathology in 1996. In January 199I I joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi as a full time SENIOR CONSULTANT IN HISTOPATHOLOGY. I have been regularly working as LOCUM CONSULTANT in UK during summer in various district and teaching hospitals (mainly at Leeds Teaching Hospitals). I became Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2004. I have coordinated seven International Pathology Updates in various parts of India conducted by fellows of the College and organized three such meets at Apollo Hospital.
