<p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Panangipalli Venugopal is Currently working as a Consultant in the department of Cardiology at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre,<span style="line-height: 115%; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> New Delhi, India.</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> He was the chief of the “Cardiothoracic Sciences Centre” at “All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi”. Prof. Venugopal is the pioneer of the heart transplant in India. He put India on the international map of a heart transplant.</span><span style="text-align: justify;">is a member of various National and International Surgical Societies. He and his team were able to establish the Cardiac Surgical facilities at the Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthy (A.R). He has published more than 350 papers highlighting the states of Cardiac surgery in India. During this period, he has been associated with the training of more than 100 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, who are working in various hospitals in India and abroad.</span></p>
