<p>Prof. Rela is a Chairman and Director of <a href="https://www.relainstitute.com/" target="_blank">Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre</a> in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India & the Professor of Liver Surgery and Transplantation, at the King's College Hospital, London. He is known for his expertise in liver transplantation and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery. He worked in various hospitals in the UK before joining London's King's College Hospital in 1991, where he continues to be the Professor of liver surgery. He was a student of the Besant Theosophical High School School, Adyar Chennai and received his MBBS (in 1980) and MS degree from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. <span style="text-align: justify;">He is also one of the most Innovative Paediatric Surgeons alive as per an article published by “Top Master’s in Healthcare Administration” </span><span style="text-align: justify;">Prof. He has performed over 4000 liver transplant surgeries.</span><br></p>
