- Dr. Praveen Chandra is presently is working with Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugram as Chairman of Interventional Cardiology. He has completed his MBBS, MS as well as DM from King George's Medical School, Lucknow. Prior to working at Medanta, Dr. Chandra has worked with some of the most proficient hospitals in Gurugram such as Fortis Memorial Research Institute as a Consultant, and Max Super Specialty Hospital as a Director. Annually, Dr. Chandra performs over 2000 Percutaneous Interventions (including Valvuloplasty), and 2500 Diagnostic Procedures. Moreover, he specializes in Coronary Angioplasty and Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty. In addition to this, he is credited with various awards and achievements such as he has published over 100 articles, abstracts and reviews in numerous International and National Journals, is awarded Padma Shri Award by the President of India (2016) for his outstanding work in the field of Medicine and is also awarded for the success in the field of Coronary Angioplasty in India.
