He has previously worked as a Visiting Clinical Professor at Subharti Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut. He was also the Director of Smile Train Project at Subharti, and later, Sunderlal Jain Hospital, where he carried out hundreds of free operations in children with cleft lip and cleft palate, a common birth defect. He helped to establish a Burns ICU in Sunderlal Jain Hospital, in the year 2000, the only one of its kind in the private sector in Delhi, at that time. He has also worked as Senior Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh, Max Hospitals at Pitampura and Shalimar Bagh and B.L.K. Superspeciality Hospital at Pusa Road.
