Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan is Currently working as a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics And Gynaecology at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. She has been associated in the past with WHO, Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS involved in research projects related to maternal mortality and infections in pregnancy.
Her areas of special interest include adolescent hormonal issues such as PCOD, pre-pregnancy counselling, low and high-risk pregnancy and conservative management of common gynaecological conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids.
